"El testament d'Amèlia" is one of the most popular Catalan folk song.

It tells the story of a king's daughter on her deathbed who knowingly drank the poisoned drink given to her by her stepmother, whom she knows has been having an affair with her husband.

Arranged for two harps by harpist Sophie Clavel, the music is part of the movie Forbidden Games directed by René Clément.
